WAEC 2014 PHYSICS SPECIMEN
Question 1
-A smooth solid spherical object e.g
pendulum bob without hook,a
marble,ball-bearings etc.
A grooved plane 150cm long (or a
plank 150cm long and 10cm wide
guided at both sides by a tie-rod)
-A short wooden plank (50m-70m) to
incline to plane; stop watch/clock;
-Meter rule;
-Pile of paper towels/serviettes
Question 2
-A ray box with a circular hole of about
3cm with cross wires;
-Converging lens of focal length 15cm
to 20cm
-Lens holder;
-Screen;
-Meter rule;
-Plasticine to guide the lens on the
holder;
-Flat plank to raise the ray box when
necessary
Question 3
-Potentiometer (0-100cm)
-10 Ohms standard resistor labelled R
-Three 1.5v cells connected in series in
a rack;
-jockey;
-Key;
-Ammeter (0-3A)
-Eight connecting wires
